2002 Maserati Coupe We've landed another exotic from Italy! This Maserati is very nice, good miles, and a great car! Roughly 1400 of these were produced in '02 for the entire world! This car carried a price tag of just under $90,000 when new! It's hard to fault this car for anything, she's solid! Boasting nearly 400hp, she's a very enjoyable ride! No mechanical quirks, no leaks. She fires right off, sounds very healthy, she has a great sound! Steering is rock solid, very responsive. Transmission shifts effortlessly! The Maserati dealership we picked it up from recently serviced the car including fluids and tires. This is a gorgeous car all around. Great lines, great look, definitely stands out from the crowd. This is one heck of a car for the price! There are really no flaws on the exterior. No damage, no paint issues, no dents or scratches. She looks great coming down the road. The wheels are from an '05 Maserati Gransport, and are sitting on near new Continental tires. Inside, this car is just about spotless. This is an exceptionally well maintained Maserati. Truly a piece of art and the color combo is second to none. Always garaged, the exterior and interior are in excellent condition as evidenced by the pictures. The car runs great and I have had my share of fun driving around the mountain roads. The Ferrari 4.2 liter V8 and F1 shifters are extremely sporty and responsive. The car does have many options including Navigation, and the skyhook suspension. Truly is a phenominal automobile. Clad in very sharp blue metallic paint, this Maserati is an eminently watchable example of Italian automotive styling. It's undeniably exotic, yet very refined...and its performance-centric heritage is obvious at first glance - just take a look at the sharp, aerodynamic angle of the front windshield and the curved taper of the nose. It may have first set rubber to asphalt more than 12 years ago, but it still looks thoroughly current with its inspired design. The years appear to have been kind, as well - its magnetic paint being in very good form and offering a strong shine from all angles. That signature front grille and the side vents just behind the front wheels look just as they did when this car rolled off the showroom floor and all badging is on point. The tan leather interior scores high marks for both luxury and ergonomics, with high-backed heated power bucket seats in front that are deeply bolstered for support during spirited cornering - offering all the opulence you'd expect from a Maserati. The blue carpeting lining the floor still looks fresh and offers a great contrast to the tan surfaces of the seating and dash area. While the Cambiocorsa's true appeal obviously doesn't center on its ability to handle passengers in back, it's certainly a feature that can come in handy and it's not there for novelty sake - the rear bench seat even sports a pair of bucket seat-like supports and offers a fold down armrest. The curved, two-tone dash area is still in great shape, with an assortment of distinctive blue gauges in the cluster and a fresh-looking dash pad on top. Look a little closer and you'll see that the speedometer goes all the way to 200mph - a subtle hint that this is no ordinary ride. Additional comfort and convenience features include power locks and windows, cruise control, air conditioning that's running strong and an AM/FM/CD stereo that teams with a trunk mounted multi-disc changer. Airbags placed on both the driver and passenger side are a welcome safety addition. With Maserati's reputation for building in exhilarating performance, you'd rightfully expect some serious punch under the hood and you certainly won't be disappointed. The electronically fuel injected 4.2 liter V8 occupying the engine may be compact, but it's plenty powerful, topping out at a full 390 horsepower to propel this Cambiocorsa to easy sub 5 second 0-60 times. The look of the engine is absolutely world-class as well - a texture coated beige intake manifold sits in place of the more commonly encountered badged plastic casing. The F1 transmission sitting behind the powerplant allows you to bypass the automatic transmission when you so choose to get more "hands on" via a pair of paddle shifters mounted on the column. As Car and Driver noted of the engine, "it's ferocious and unexpectedly torquey" and in addition, it sends a great bass note out of its dual exhaust. The power steering has a nice, live feel and is very responsive, while the power disc brakes at all four corners feature generously proportioned calipers and bring things to a stop very quickly when called upon.
